There are totally 336 combinations at the chart. 164 of them belong to boy (49%) and 172 belong to girl (51%). If you look at the chart, you can find that the chance of having a boy is very high if the mother is young (age 18~27). At around 31 years old, the chance of having a girl becomes very high (age 28~34). And if a lady is pregnant at 35 or older, the chance of having either a girl or a boy is about equal. This could be one of the reasons that the ancient Chinese encouraged the girls to pregnant when they were very young, as women would be easy to get pregnant with a baby boy.

Figure out the date when the baby is conceived. Your doctor should able to tell you if you don't know.

Base on that date, go to check the lunar age calculator, and find out the lunar mother age and the lunar month of the conception date.
